Races

HUMANS

The Human race is flourishing. Ceaselessly they continue to colonize more and more territories of Equiada. Masters of the architecture, they create sturdy buildings capable of withstanding even the strongest enemy attacks. Human blacksmiths are famous all over the world, providing their troops with advanced weapons and armour. The faith in their gods helps the race to continue believing that it alone is fit to rule the world, doing everything in its power to destroy all other beings in existence. The only thing preventing the Humans from achieving this ultimate goal is the constant struggle for power, which keeps them divided in dozens of small kingdoms and domains fighting each other.

FORESTERS

Born of plant, beast and magic, the children of the forest wasted no time in establishing themselves as one of the three dominant races of Equiada. Lacking crafts and any type of technology, the Foresters rely on nature for everything, using magic to twist plants into structures, create traps to foil their enemies or call sturdy creatures to crush their foes.

DARKLINGS

Created by darkness and magma, the Darklings are the eldest race of Equiada. Given the skill to shape stone they raise massive buildings of magma anywhere they choose. Unlike the other races, the Darklings have remained unchanged since their creation, following the teachings the old gods. Recent changes in Equiada, however, combined with the other races' thirst for power, have forced the Darklings to once again make their presence felt.

ELVES

In the ancient times the Elf nation was one of the major powers in Equiada but with the appearance of the Foresters the Elves are now reduced to a multitude of tribes doing their best to keep some of their ancient knowledge which is their most valuable asset.

NOMADS

The Nomads are fierce beings that arrived to Equiada from a different world. Always on the move their colonies are little more than temporary camps where they and their beasts could rest before continuing on their route. Despised by nearly all other races, the Nomads keep themselves to themselves, wishing to have as little to do as possible with others.

SHADES

The Shades are lifeless creations that have entered the world in Equiada with the sole aim to consume all life there. Although still few and disorganized their colonies are slowly growing, causing more and more damage to the realms of all other races while becoming a threat to be reckoned with. One with darkness, some of the Shades have even learned how to become invisible to the eyes of mortals.

TROLS

Created of solid rock, the Trolls have a simple agenda in life - to squish everything they set eyes upon and become the ultimate rulers of Equiada. However, despite their considerable strength, sheer stupidity has keeps them from achieving this goal.

DRAGONS

Although the Dragons are the most ancient race in Equiada, little is known about their powerful race. Guardians of past and future they are said to be able to travel through time itself, appearing and disappearing from the world at will. Every now and again their colonies can still be seen near the rocky regions of the mountains.
